The Texas Blue Lake Pools team is comprised of a number of experienced and qualified professionals who are dedicated to providing clients with an unforgettable pool design, building, and maintenance experience, and we understand the importance of providing a quality product and quality service that is unmatched throughout the area.
Our team carries a number of industry certifications, including Certified Pool Operator and Certified Pool Inspector through the National Swimming Pool Foundation. We take pride in bettering ourselves through industry involvement in an effort to best serve you, and we look forward to closely working with you. Shannon Martin

Shannon Martin, President
Shannon (Jones) Martin has been serving the amazing customers of Texas Blue Lake Pools since 1982. Now the third generation Owner/President, Shannon began counting pipe and sweeping floors for her Papaw, Robert “Bob” Jones Sr., and Dad, Joe T. Jones. Shannon has been trained by some of the best in the industry and has served on community and industry boards and as a trainer at industry conferences. Shannon is very passionate about her support of her community, her staff, and all things Disney. She loves to run and to travel. Shannon has been married to her junior high sweetheart, Doug Martin, since 1992, and they are very proud of their sons and daughter-in-law. The Martin family wouldn’t be complete without their German Shepherd, Lilly.
Bryan George

Bryan George, Retail Manager
Bryan joined the Texas Blue Lake Pools team in 2009 and now serves as its General Manager. He is a Certified Pool Operator and is also a BioGuard Certified Water Care Expert. Bryan is great at helping customers and excels in troubleshooting and equipment/parts identification. Bryan and his wife, Jenifer, love the outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, watching sports, homebrewing, and spending time with their dogs and cats.
Chris Jones

Chris Jones, Design Consultant
Chris originally joined the Texas Blue Lake Pools team in 1992, starting as a Service Technician and I.T. Administrator. In 2013 Chris rejoined TBLP and began designing and engineering custom inground swimming pools. He has completed many of the rigorous Genesis 3 Design School courses, as well as a variety of other artistic training courses. Chris enjoys flying Hot Air Balloons throughout the country and internationally, and he is a devoted husband to his wife, Kerri, and their sons, Jack and Jaydon.
Tandia Thompson-Cogswell

Tandia Thompson-Cogswell, Financial Administrator
Tandia joined the Texas Blue Lake Pools team in 2014 and is now our Financial Administrator utilizing her talents in our accounting, service, construction, and retail departments. She has over 20 years of administrative and management experience and has worked in the swimming pool service and construction industry since 2011. Tandia loves spending time with her husband, Steven, and their three children, Jerod, Avery, and Caison. She enjoys camping, movies, music/concerts, cooking, and rooting for her Green Bay Packers.

Avery,
Avery began working at Texas Blue Lake Pools in 2015 filing paperwork after school. Over time, Avery desired to learn more from the TBLP employees to stay busy. She started stocking the store, loading sand, and running water samples. During this time, she built meaningful relationships with customers and staff. She now manages the retail store and trains new employees, still aspiring to learn more about the business every day. When she’s not working, she’s at home cuddled up watching a good show with her boyfriend, Peyton, and their two pups, Whiskey and Keystone.

Joy, Mascot of Texas Blue Lake Pools
JOY is the official mascot of Texas Blue Lake Pools. She has helped people to “Find Your Joy” in and around the Amarillo community since 2024. She loves meeting new people at the Sod Poodles games and attending various community service events. She also enjoys seeing customers at Food Truck Fridays throughout the Summer pool season.
