In Amarillo since 1955...

Texas Blue Lake Pools, Inc. has been serving the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles since 1955 when Bob Jones began constructing gunite swimming pools. Working out of a 20’ X 40’ ranch house on the outskirts of Amarillo, Bob named his company Texas Blue Lake Pools after the Landon Blue Lake equipment he used at that time. Since business was growing, Bob’s son, Joe T. Jones joined the company in 1958 to service and construct swimming pools with his father. And with Joe’s help, the company continued to expand and prosper. Today, in its original location, Texas Blue Lake Pools, Inc. is within one mile of the geographical center of Amarillo and has a 3600 square-foot retail store, a 25,000 square-foot warehouse, and 20,000 square feet of construction yard.

In 1969, Joe purchased Texas Blue Lake Pools from his father and with the help of his wife Pam the company expanded further to provide knowledgeable advice, outstanding service, and technical expertise. In 1980, Joe utilized the talents of yet another family member and employed his daughter Shannon (Jones) Martin to manage the retail store. Today, Joe is the participating President of Texas Blue Lake Pools, Inc. and Shannon is the Vice President. Their family legacy continues with addition of the fourth generation – Haddon and Kel Martin. Joe’s grandsons, Shannon’s sons, have begun to learn the ropes of this swimming pool and supply company.
